Prerequisites: NUR 3056C, NUR 3065C, NUR 3125, NUR 3225C, NUR 3636L, NUR 3678, NUR 3822, and NUR4445C. This laboratory course expands the application of the nursing process and nursing roles to the specialized care required by selected populations in a variety of acute care settings. Select populations include women, children, families, and persons with mental-health problems. Effectiveness of nursing interventions and expected outcomes for women, children, families, and mental-health clients are evaluated.
