Prerequisite: CE 303. Corequisite: CE 361. Investigates the principles of cost estimating, scheduling, and preparing bid documents for construction projects. Topics include feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed estimating, sequencing of tasks, tracking time and cost, and variance analysis. State-of-the-practice computer applications for estimating and scheduling will be stressed in the lecture as well as the corequisite laboratory.
