Prerequisites: Junior standing or approval of the instructor (per proposal). Description: Introduction to federal and local regulations governing floodplain management, the National Flood Insurance Program, and flood maps. Successful completion of the class requires passing the Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) Exam, within a maximum of two attempts. Students will be required to pay the exam fee(s) to the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
