The Specialty course consists of one two-week specialty in the M-3 year and seven in the M-4 year. The disciplines are Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Neurology, Ophthalmology (one week), Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Radiology and Urology. May be repeated to a maximum of 16 hours. Students may register in more than one section per term. Enrollment in the third year of the Doctor of Medicine program at Chicago for the first two-week component and enrollment in the fourth year of the Doctor of Medicine program at Chicago for the remaining seven components. Additionally, each department may require clinical prerequisites to be completed.
