An overview of special education delivery models including finances, legislation, philosophic considerations, least restrictive approaches, parent involvement and due process safeguards. Local, state and federal rules and regulations are studied as are federal legislation including IDEA, ADA, and Section 504. Offered twice yearly and summer. Prerequisite or co-requisite: SPED 500.
