CHIN 201 introduces students to more advanced beginning Mandarin pronunciation, grammar, and orthography (in both Pinyin and characters). Instruction focuses on development of all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and cultural knowledge. Prerequisites: Successful completion, with grade of "C" or better, of CHIN 102 or its equivalent.
