BIO 201 - Lectures In Physiology

Description:
Function of various mammalian systems with special emphasis on humans. Topics include: excitable tissue, respiration, nutrition, reproduction, endocrinology, skeletal, circulatory and renal systems; homeostatic mechanism. Students will attend lecture and take examinations with students in BIO 204, Mammalian Physiology, and attend one hour of mandatory recitation per week. Laboratory exercises will not be conducted. Restricted to Biology/Biological Science Majors (BA BIO, BS BBC, BS BCD, BS BEB, BS BMB, BS BMG and BS BNS) who have BIO 201 already included on their major concentration forms. Students MUST contact Jenn Baylark to check for eligibility and to obtain registration instructions, or consult your academic advisor for possible substitutions.
