Description:
This course is an advanced photography and digital printing class. Work is expected to be conceptually challenging as well as technically sound. We will cover studio lighting, advanced camera operation, multiple film formats, advanced digital manipulation in Adobe Photoshop, scanning, color correction, large format printing, and issues in contemporary art and theory. All work will be shot on film and then scanned. Students must have had SA 141: Introductory Photography and SA 151: Introductory Digital Art or a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and the understanding that additional outside work to catch students up to speed on Photoshop will be required. Permission of instructor required. Studio Art Supplies Fee: $50
