BIO 204 - Mammalian Physiology

Function of various mammalian systems with special emphasis on humans. Topics include: excitable tissue; respiration; nutrition; reproduction; endocrinology; skeletal, circulatory and renal systems; homeostatic mechanisms. Three 50 minute lectures and one 3-hour laboratory per week. Restricted to Biology/Biological Science Majors (BA BIO, BS BBC, BS BCD, BS BEB, BS BMB, BS BMG and BS BNS) who have BIO 204 already included on their major concentration forms. Students MUST contact Jenn Baylark to check for eligibility and to obtain registration instructions, or consult your academic advisor for possible substitutions.
