This course is designed to prepare and qualify students to work as personal trainers. The course bridges the gap between exercise science related course work and the practical application of skills of personal training. The students will learn how to properly screen and evaluate clients for safe participation in an exercise program; design and implement exercise prescriptions for multiple populations and successful goal attainment; and successfully sell and manage personal trainer services. Eligibility for a Personal Training Certification is provided.
