This course presents a working knowledge of biomechanical principles for use in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction. It will address the biomechanics of musculoskeletal tissues and structures, the biomechanics of the most commonly injured human joints, and applied biomechanics. Special emphasis will be placed on musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology as each student will be responsible for learning origins, insertions and actions of the prime movers of the primary articulation.
