Course designed to improve the students' writing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills by writing essays and discussing concepts correlating with the oral grammar content. This course is the required first course in a series of two designed to develop the ability to communicate clearly in workplace and personal settings. Emphasis is on the writing process including audience analysis, topic selection, thesis support and development, library research, editing, and revision.
