Description:
This course introduces students to point-of-care testing, CLIA waived, and selective CLIA moderate-complexity laboratory testing commonly encountered in ambulatory health care settings. Students will be presented with both fundamental and advanced concepts of Urinalysis, Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Immunology, Immunohematology and Microbiology testing. At the conclusion of this course, the student will be able to apply those concepts to successfully perform common laboratory procedures.
