Blending portraiture and context, the environmental portrait illuminates the character and personality of its subject. Learning to photograph people in their natural surroundings thus capturing insight into their lives is the goal of this course. Students will complete a portfolio of original photographic work focusing on the topic of environmental portraiture. Prerequisite: ART 130 , ART 131 , ART 132 , ART 232 , ART 233 , and ART 236 .
