This course is designed to assist future agricultural science and technology teachers in understanding the structure, organization, and management of public schools at the national, state, and local levels. Course content will include a study of the needs of the special learner, school finance and funding for career and technical education programs, agricultural science curriculum and graduation requirements, and cultural issues. The course will also focus on professionalism, program planning, personnel employment and evaluation, and legal issues critical to the success of agricultural science and technology teachers.
