An introduction to the principles and procedures of various tests performed in clinical chemistry. Presents the physiological basis for the test, the principle and procedure for the test and the clinical significance of the test results including quality control and normal values. Also includes basic chemical laboratory techniques and safety for electrolytes, acid-base balance, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, enzymes, metabolites, endocrine function, therapeutic drug monitoring, and toxicology. Lab fee $15.
