Plant Growth and Development. (3-0). Credit 3. The course is a comprehensive analysis of plant development primarily focused on the molecular and cellular processes underlying morphogenesis, vegetative growth and reproduction. The role of the major phytohormones as coordinators of development will be analyzed. Plastic developmental responses to conditioning environmental signals will also be considered. Prerequisites: MEPS 601 or approval of instructor. Cross-listed with MEPS 671.
