Designed to introduce graduate students in public and international affairs to certain principals and analytic tools widely used in the financial manageĀ­ment of organizations, privately or publicly owned. Course is based on the premise that future civil servants should be familiar with this subject matter, either because they may be involved in the financial management of public agencies, or negotiate financial contracts with the private sector, or regulate financial management in the private sector.
