Provides for application of the nursing process for selected child/adult clients experiencing common health deviations interfering with activities of daily living. Emphasizes the nurse as provider of care for those patients experiencing alterations in oxygenation focusing on respiratory function. Prerequisite: (NPN 1352 and NPN 1353) with a C or better. Lecture: 0.75 credit (11.25 contact hours). Laboratory: 0.5 credit (22.5 contact hours).
