Develops manipulative skills and concepts of linear and quadratic functions required for further study in mathematics. Students may not receive credit for both MT 150 and MA 109 or for both MT150 and MA 110. Credit not available on the basis of a special exam. Prerequisite: Math ACT score of 20 or above: Math ACT score of 18 or 19 with concurrent enrollment in MT100; MT 120 or MT 122 or MT 125 or equivalent as determined by KCTCS placement examination. Corequisite: If Math ACT score of 18 or 19, then concurrent enrollment in MT 1001 is required. Lecture: 0.8 credit (12 contact hours). NOTE: Fall 2010 ACT 22
