This course is designed to introduce the learner to the dynamics and treatment of pathological syndromes and what is considered abnormal behavior disorders that include: neuroses, psychoses, character and developmental disorders, personality disorders, etc. This course includes updated information on: eating disorders; health problems and behavior; schizophrenia, and includes expanded coverage and explanation of research methodology, and mental retardation, using case studies. Therapeutic modalities are described and interpreted from alternative viewpoints.
