Provides the basic concepts of medical emergencies and pharmacology related to radiography. Addresses use of imaging contrast agents, venipuncture, IV therapy, and informed consent in radiology practice. Includes professional practice standards of radiographer. Prerequisite: RADI 104 and (RADI 106 or NAA 100) and RADI 108 and RADI 109. Lecture: 1 credit (15 contact hours). Lab: 1 credit (30 contact hours).
