Develops skills in data collection, documentation, and the application of selected physical therapy interventions including, massage, superficial heat and cold, sound agents, electrotherapy, biofeedback traction, hydrotherapy, and compression therapy. Lab experiences will reflect concepts taught in the paired lecture course. Pre-requisite: Admission to the PTA Program; Completion of PTA 1501, PTA 1502, PTA 120, PTA 121, PTA 170 with a C or better. Co-requisite: PTA 222, PTA 223, PTA 232, PTA 233, PTA 202, PTA 240. Student cannot progress to PTA 240 without a grade of C or better in all other co-requisite courses. Lab: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
