Focuses on the application of the core components of nursing to adult clients experiencing dysfunctional health patterns. Emphasizes the care of clients with nutritional-metabolic and elimination dysfunctional health patterns. Prerequisite: (NSG 101 and BIO 139 with a grade of C or better) and PSY 223. Corequisite: NSG 215 and (NSG 211 or NSG 212 or NSG 213). Prerequisite or corequisite: ENG 101 and Oral Communication. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours) Laboratory: 3 credits (135 contact hours).
