Focuses on the comprehensive assessment of individuals throughout the lifespan. Utilizing the nursing process in care for clients with complex health care needs. Application of knowledge acquired in NIP 205: Pathophysiology for Nursing Practice in relation to the management of clients with endocrine gastrointestinal, reproductive, and renal/urinary problems across the lifespan. Prerequisite: Completion with a grade of C or better, in NIP 120, NIP 125, and NIP 130 OR successful completion of a Practical Nursing curriculum. Students must have Basic Life Support certification, current liability insurance coverage and current immunizations for the duration of the course. Corequisite: NIP 2104 and NIP 205. Prerequisite or corequisite: MT150 and NIP2101 and NIP2102. Lecture: 0.75 credit (11.25 contact hours). Laboratory/Clinical: 0.75 credit (33.75 contact hours).
