Expands knowledge from previous courses in caring for clients across the lifespan with alteration in the endocrine, reproductive, neuro-sensory, hematological, immune, and integumentary systems. Integrates concepts of health promotion, disease prevention, pharmacological and therapeutic interventions. Includes advanced clinical skills. Prerequisite: Completion, with a grade of C or better, of NIP 110 and NIP 115. Students must have Basic Life Support certification, current liability insurance coverage and current immunizations for the duration of the course. Prerequisite or corequisite: NIP 120 and NIP 125. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours); Laboratory/Clinical: 3 credits (135 contact hours).
