Includes knowledge of how to create various styles of contemporary music utilizing loop and sampling based technology, creation of wav files, MP3 files, CD layout, and class projects. Prerequisite: MUS 174 or Consent of Instructor. Lecture: 1 credit (15 contact hours); Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
