Provides in-depth study of following systems: cooling water system, steam flow system, air flow system, gas flow system, and power distribution. Provides instruction in the integration of systems within a fossil fuel power plant. (Reading and Mathematics assessment scores above KCTCS developmental placement level or successful completion of prescribed developmental courses) OR instructor consent. Lecture: 3.0 credits ( 45 contact hours).
