Freshmen are assigned to crews as an introduction to general production techniques and procedures. Course Objectives (1) Understand how all the elements of a theatrical production are integrated during the Tech process to allow for a successful show run. (2) Appreciate the roles that the Performance and Production components of any theatre play in creating a memorable theatrical experience (3) Understand the daily routine involved in the basic operation, and maintenance of a theatrical production from the start of the Tech process through the entire run of a show. (4) Apply skills learned in other coursework to aid in disassembling the show at the end of a run.
