Lectures and discussions based on translated literary texts. Dual listed as MLNG 228. Course Objectives (1) Discuss the history, politics and culture of several countries located in Central Europe. (2) Identify their on-going role in global configurations and agendas. (3) Demonstrate an understanding of the cultural and literary lives of Central/Eastern European countries.
