Course Objectives (1) Identify and describe sociological principles of race, class, gender, sexuality, levels of ability, and other social inequalities (2) Apply sociological theory to better understand, identify and explain social class and power, reason, sexism and discrimination (3) Discuss and evaluate class-based, race-based and gender-based social policy in the United States of America
