Course Objectives (1) Convert units (2) Calculate magnitude and direction of a sum of vectors (3) Solve problems involving motion with constant acceleration (4) Solve problems by applying Newton's Laws of Motion and Gravitation (5) Recognize situations where conservation of momentum is applicable and use it there (6) Use Work-Energy Theorem to solve problems (7) Calculate velocity and acceleration in circular motion (8) Define and calculate tensile, shear, and bulk moduli of elasticity from the given data (9) Calculate period, frequency, amplitude, velocity, acceleration in simple harmonic motion given the appropriate data
