This course deals with the multi-faceted role of Federal, State and local law enforcement authorities in the United States and their role in the response to high impact events as described by the Department of Homeland Security. The course will explore inter-agency cooperation and strategies for improving collaboration through the use of shared assets. Inclusive in this course is a detailed review of the roles of state an local authorities in the event of such an attack.
