Course Objectives (1) Understand the history of England and the English peoples from the early periods of the pre-Viking invasions to the introduction of feudalism and the reign of the House of the Tudors to the modern age. (2) Draw conclusions concerning the validity of the Anglo- Saxon view of the world and the lasting legacy of the British Empire.
