Course Objectives Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: (1) Discuss the history of air quality, current issues in ambient air quality, and the regulations, policies and programs to address them today and in the future (2) Discuss the history of water pollution, current issues related to protecting our water resources and current regulations, policies, and programs to address them today and in the future (3) Discuss the history of solid and hazardous waste management, current environmental issues in waste management and the regulations, policies and programs to address them today and in the future
