3500. Human Behavior and the Social Environment I. 3 hours. Theories of human interaction as a framework for practice decisions. Ecological and strengths-based perspective to explore social systems as vehicles for individual and societal change. Part of a two-course sequence focusing most specifically on the human life course as it is impacted by biological, psychological, social and cultural factors. Prerequisites(s): SOWK 3500; SOWK 3800; SOWK 4540. Co-requisite with SOWK 4800 and SOCI 4880.
