5125. Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counseling Models. 3 hours. Models of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) Counseling provides students with a broad overview of intervention and counseling strategies utilized by rehabilitation programs serving persons with substance abuse disorders. This course focuses on service delivery systems and AODA counselor licensure exam and as a pre-requisite for RHAB 4150 : Practice of AODA Counseling.
