5400. Advanced Real Estate Valuation. 3 hours. In-depth study, application and evaluation of the theory and methods of residential and income property appraisal. Topics include case study of the market comparison approach, the income capitalization approach and the cost approach to estimating value. Graduate students are required to complete group work, as well as a sequence of approximately ten complete case study solutions and presentations. Prerequisite(s) : REAL 5350 or consent of department.
