6150. Marriage and Family Therapy I. 3 hours. Examine health and dysfunction in the couple and family systems. Major theories of marital and family therapy will be reviewed, and several will be examined and applied in depth. Emphasis will be placed on psychological assessment of the family as a behavioral system, including administration, scoring, interpretation and report writing. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 5420 or the equivalent, or consent of the department.
