5420. Assessment I. 4 hours. (3;3) Introduction to and an overview of psychological assessment models, techniques and data collection systems for individuals, groups and organizations with a focus on the assessment of individuals. Emphasis will be on interviews, behavioral observation and tests of intelligence (Wechsler Scales, Stanford-Binet, Illinois Test of Psycholinguistic Abilities and group intelligence tests); including administration, scoring, interpretation and report writing. Prerequisite(s): admission to a graduate degree program psychology. Students who have had a similar course without laboratory credit will be required to enroll in a special problems laboratory. Offered fall semester only.
