5300. Apprenticeship in Organbuilding. 4 hours. Apprenticeship experience with an approved organbuilder. Apprentice to gain experience in several areas of organbuilding, including tuning, voicing, design, windchest construction, action regulation and general service work. Prerequisite(s): completion of 20 hours towards the Master of Music degree with a major in performance and a concentration in organbuilding. Pending approval of MM in Organ Building by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
