5220. Advanced Singing-Acting Techniques. 1 hour (1;2). Working with the techniques of H. Wesley Balk, the course develops singing / acting skills that integrate the full system of each students. An experimental learning course in which the student will apply the techniques to their individual operatic repertoire or assigned scenes from opera. Prerequisite(s) : Accepted into a graduate degree program or artist's certificate. Must have at least 3 operatic arias in personal repertoire. Highly recommended to be taken before MUAG 5640.
