1500. Occupational Health - Lessons from Music. 3 hours. Fundamental principals of wellness associated with occupational health discussed within the context of music. Course focuses on gaining a practical understanding of occupational injuries including musculoskeletal problems from repetitive tasks, noise induced hearing loss from overexposure to sound, and mental health problems associated with competeition at work and economic instability. Emphasis on personal responsibility, injury prevention, and the development of lifetime wellness skills.
