5625. Scanning Electron and Ion Microscopy Laboratory. 1 hour (0;3). This laboratory course closely follows the MTSE 5620 lecture course, and concurrent enrollment in both courses is strongly encouraged. Students will gain hands-on experience with the SEM, FESEM, FIB, EDS, EBSD, and sample preparation equipment. Prerequisite(s) : MTSE 5500, PHYS 2220 or equivalent, consent of instructor required.
