6533. Current Readings and Research in Early Childhood Education. 3 hours. Introduction to current research as well as historical and contemporary readings in early childhood education. Contributes to students' roles as professionals in the field. Assigned readings are critically examined; students lead discussions on self-directed readings. Students are required to register for this course in each of their first three semesters of course work. 3 hours required; limit of 4 hours may be applied to the degree plan.
