5930. Research Problems in Lieu of Thesis. 2-4 hours each. Independent research of a specific problem in a field of computer science. The work will be supervised by a member of the faculty of the Department of Computer Sciences, and a final written report must be approved by the supervising faculty and the department chair prior to submission to the office of the graduate dean. Prerequisite(s): approval of student's research plan by a computer science faculty member.
