Examination of the role of communication in the effective management of conflict and introduction to basic mediation topics such as gender, intercultural and nonverbal communication. Study of conflict in various common contexts: intrapersonal, interpersonal, group and organizational. Prerequisite(s): COMM 2020 or PSCI 4821 or PSCI 4822 or PSCI 4825 or AECO 4000 or AECO 4020 or AECO 4120 or AECO 4420 or MGMT 3720.
