3460. New Media Studio III. 3 hours (2;4). This studio-based course introduces 3D Modeling, texturing, key-frame animation, physics, collision detection, and sound for the purpose of creating timebased site-specific experiences. Students will explore the relationship of time to space when generating content for their artworks. Techniques for exporting models and animations for 2D and 3D timebased and interactive software environments will also be discussed. Prerequisite(s) : ART 1200, 1440, 1450, 1500, 1510, ASTU 2450, 2460, 3450, or consent of instructor.
