(3;1;1) Examines the need for national security, analyzes the evolution and formulation of the American defense policy, strategy, and joint doctrine; investigates the methods for managing conflict; and overview of regional security, arms control and terrorism. Special topics of interest focus on the military as a profession, officership, the military justice system, and current issues affecting military professionalism. Prerequisite(s): AERO 3310 and 3320.
