Elementary Technology Analysis - Three semester hours. The purpose of the course is to teach the student to apply skills and knowledge acquired in science and mathematics courses. This a skill-based course. The student will use a scientific calculator and spreadsheet software to solve problems and present information. This course will explain how to use Microsoft Excel 2000 version to solve problems that commonly arise in engineering analysis. Numerical methods of problem solving will be emphasized. Problem-solving techniques will be accentuated rather than the underlying mathematical solution procedures. Application of these methods for use in other science, math, engineering, and technology courses will be illustrated.%
